![]() ![]() At the very bottom of the pane, select Options. A pane will appear on the left side with several different options. To add your own color, click More Colors, and then pick a color on the Standard tab or enter numbers on the Custom tab. ![]() For each theme color you want to change, click the button next to that color, and pick a color under Theme Colors. Go to the bottom of a sheet and put your cursor on a tab Right-click and select Change color in the pop-up menu Choose one of the existing colors or create. ![]() There may be additional edge cases that I haven't considered, but this is the general idea you'll need to implement. Click the File tab at the top-left of the ribbon. To create your own set of colors, click Customize Colors. Then we add some more event handlers so that when the workbook loses focus ( Workbook_Deactivate) and before it closes ( Workbook_BeforeClose) we restore that cursor to its previous style via the resetCursor method. The idea here is that we capture the initial cursor style when the workbook is opened (the Workbook_Open event calls on changeCursor which stores the current cursor style in the cursor variable.
